Set at the dawn of time, ‘Early Man’ follows young caveman Dug on an epic quest to save his tribe from a mighty enemy and his Bronze Age city.

Dug’s tribe are still in the Stone Age, and they’re no match for people armed with bronze. So he sets out for the mysterious city with his sidekick Hognob to try and save them all, and finds himself caught up in an incredible journey unlike anything he’s known.

The latest extraordinary claymation adventure from the creators of ‘Wallace And Gromit’ and ‘Chicken Run’, ‘Early Man’ features the voices of Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston and Maisie Williams.

I went to see this film as I love Aardman's studio films. I am not in any way into football, however I found this movie to be hilarious. I needed cheering up and this film certainly did it for me. I can't wait to see what Nick Park comes up with next.

Great film

Writing a review just to counteract the one from Mr. Miserable who said he fell asleep. A really fun film, incredible animation and the kids (3 & 5) were engrossed throughout. And, crucially, not too long.

This is essentially a children's film about a footie match with some footie "in-jokes" and little else. Thankfully the cinema was warm so I had a nap, leaving my wife awake (and also bored). Go & see Coco instead - it actually has an engaging plot.
