Worth seeing

Okay the storyline will not blow you away. There is no twist, no feelgood ending. BUT Casey Affleck's performance alone makes the film worth seeing. Brilliant acting.

... the Sea is a well acted, paced and photographed film. It is an engaging tale of events that punctuate the live ordinary people and their repercussions. I enjoyed it to the end.

just beautiful

Understated, wintery, funny and devastating. It's about grief, community, love and forgiveness but there's no easy answers, no platitudes, no simple narrative conclusion, like life really.
