ODEON says...
A timeless story of the search for companionship, ‘Moonlight’ chronicles the life of a young black man named Chiron, as he grows up gay in a rough Miami neighbourhood.

From shy child to awkward adolescent to hardened adult, we follow Chiron’s journey through life as he struggles to figure out his place in the world, aided and abetted by his junkie mother, drug dealer mentor and best friend Kevin.

One of the most critically-acclaimed films of the year, ‘Moonlight’ is an enormously affecting and emotionally shattering portrait of one man’s search for self-discovery.

What a yawn fest. The most boring film I have ever seen

Missed Chance

Reviewer: Mr GreyDate: 2017-03-07

Hats off for making a film of a very difficult subject matter. Naomie Harris outstanding but I couldn't get into the film or most characters. Script monosyllabic and just not enjoyable. Never seen so many people walk and I saw 9 walk out of LaLa

Not for Everyone

Reviewer: Marko2Date: 2017-03-06

Sorry to say this was the second film ever I walked out of. Individual performances good but I just couldn't invest in most characters. Just didn't find it enjoyable or engaging. Its one that isn't for everyone. Wasn't the first to leave.

One to avoid

I was surprised, given the awards that this movie has had. It started slow and never really caught up. The potential for a challenging movie was there - but it didn't happen. One to avoid.
