ODEON says...
‘The Big Sick’ follows the burgeoning relationship between Kumail and Emily. They quickly grow close, but Kumail doesn’t want his new American girlfriend to meet his very strict Muslim parents.

Emily’s understandably unhappy about this, and things take another turn for the worse when she comes down with a mysterious illness. Now, Kumail has to take charge of the crisis – along with Emily’s parents.

Inspired by the life story of its writers, ‘The Big Sick’ is an alternately charming and riveting romantic comedy that received near-universal acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival.

I enjoyed this movie. I liked the message behind it and thought it was very relevant.

Worth seeing

A notch above the typical Hollywood rom-com. Not the usual polished American drivel, felt like real life relationships, particularly great from Holly Hunter and Ray Romano. A bit slow at times but some laugh out loud moments. Worth seeing.

It is a typical Pakistani Family living together in UK. The parents are searching for a suitable Girl to marry their son in an arranged marriage. But the son is determined for an English girl by choosing himself. Watch the movie to see what is End.

The very worst of Hollywood propaganda. If you have the minutest trace of political awareness this film could truely make you physically sick.
