Plunging the Soviet Union into uncertainty and chaos as Stalin’s body lay on the floor, his advisors immediately began to fight amongst themselves for a piece of the pie. But what’s the future of the country when you have a shot at unimaginable wealth and influence for yourself?

Experience the aftermath of ‘The Death Of Stalin’ in this biting satire from the creator of ‘The Thick Of It’ and ‘Veep’.

mediocre

I walked out in the middle. It was not as bad as this suggests but I thought a comedy that doesn't make me lough is not worth watching. The humour was a bit basic and predictable.

Great movie

Very funny, very dark, too dark in places, but it wouldn't represent events if it wasn't. The universal paranoia of the time creates the perfect farce, and humour is the spoonful of sugar that makes unpalatable history digestible for modern viewers.

Worth a watch

Decent film from Armando Iannucci. While not totally hilarious, it does have it's moments. Decent turn from Michael Palin thrown in.
