ODEON says...

When P.T. Barnum loses his job after the company’s bankruptcy, he sets out to finally give his family the life he promised them by reinventing himself as ‘The Greatest Showman’.

He starts putting together a circus, trying to create a show like nobody’s ever seen before. But for a unique show, he’ll need unique performers unafraid to stand out – after all, no-one ever made a difference by being like everyone else.

Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams and Zendaya star in ‘The Greatest Showman’, a soaring musical with songs by the Academy Award-winning songwriters behind ‘La La Land’.

Outstanding

Saw it this March. It was a performance worth paying for but for me Hugh Jackman stole the show. Hugh knew Wolverine could sing?. Okay so the film was not completely true to P.T Barnum's life story but that's what makes this film original.and fun.

Amazing film

Loved this film from start to finish.

I've been to see this film 5 times and I've never been more than once to see any film. The songs are amazing and the message is inspiring. It's not historically accurate and it's sugar coated but that doesn't matter, it has magic I can't explain.

30 plus viewings

I admit it. I have now seen TGS over 30 times and I'm still not done! My local Odeon will be thrilled when this film finally ends its run (will it ever?) so that they don't have to see me grinning and tunelessly belting out "This Is Me" when I emerge at the end of the film. I know it plays fast and loose with history. I know the real-life Barnum was not exactly the squeaky-clean character portrayed by the wonderful Mr Jackman, but it's bright, cheerful, colourful and IT'S A MUSICAL! What more could you ask for? "Wolverine: The Musical", anyone? Oh, yes!
