Enjoyable film. Well drawn characters, great sets and a great story. Funny in places, and a happy ending. What more could you want?

Old school 1950's Americanized sentimental clap trap.Unnecessary sex scenes and swearing.Sally Hawkings plays her part well but I also do not understand all the nominations.I have not rated a film 2 star for many many years.

This was an absolutely beautiful movie that left me both entertained and mesmerized. The directing was incredible and it felt at times that the audience was immersed within the film. Stunning film of the year so far for me.

Goodness knows why it’s got so many nominations... I thought it was laboured and disappointing.... and ‘fishman’ was funny... I guess the luvvies like it.... but honestly..
