A 12A certificate means that some parts of a film may generally not be suitable for under-12s. However, we’ll still welcome younger guests if they come to a 12A film with a grown-up, and we’ll give you all the details you need to decide if the film’s appropriate. Want more information about film certificates? Click here to find out more (opens in new window).
You’re never too young for the magic of film and most of our cinemas welcome babies for titles rated U, PG and 12A. But please spare a thought for our other guests – if your baby grows unsettled, step outside for a moment until they’ve calmed down.
We also recommend checking out our ODEON Newbies screenings. These are our special showings for parents and guardians and their babies, where you can lose yourself in the latest must-see releases, free from the worries of disturbing other guests.
Usually little ones under two years old get in for free. But if your baby enjoys the entertainment from their own seat, you’ll be asked to buy a Child ticket.
We’re proud to take part in MEERKAT MOVIES and bring even more pocket-friendly offers to our guests.
This is a new, too-good-to-be-missed reward for comparethemarket.com customers. Fronted by small-screen star Sergei the meerkat, it gives you two-for-one cinema tickets every Tuesday or Wednesday for a whole year when you buy certain products from comparethemarket.com.*
To get your tickets, just book in advance in-cinema or online. And if you’re booking online, simply enter your voucher code at the ‘Your Order’ step.
It’s your lucky day. You’ve got your hands on a voucher or passes for free entry. And the good news is that we’ll always have a selection of spellbinding films for you to see. However, you may find that your tickets aren’t valid for some of our latest titles. Why? This is known as the FPR period, which means free passes are invalid for this title for a short amount of time, these are also referred to as free list suspended on some of our guest passes/tickets.
Please check your voucher or pass’s terms and conditions before coming, so we can be sure to whisk you away on an enchanting cinema experience when you arrive.
At any time we have all kinds of vouchers available to make your cinema experience even better and each has its own terms and conditions. Please check yours to see what it says about booking.
Unfortunately, while we do all we can to make your experience as effortless as possible, we can’t accept online bookings using paper vouchers or guest passes
But there’s good news too! You can book online using our ODEON Gift Cards.
Your cinema box office will be open and ready to welcome you at least 15 minutes before the day’s first screening.
You’ve booked your tickets, but now more friends want to join the fun? No problem! As long as the seats are available, just find your screening online and select the seats you want to add to your booking.
And if your original booking didn’t include a seat number? Even better! That mean’s it’s an unallocated screening. Simply make a second booking for your extra seats, and when you get to the screen, you’ll be able to sit where you like and float up, up and away together.
As film lovers, we know just how exciting the run up to a big release can be and always put details of our films and screening times online as soon as we have them. This means you can usually book tickets for the following week from Tuesday evening or Wednesday afternoon.
On the other hand, if we expect a film to be a super smash-hit blockbuster, we may start selling tickets a few weeks before its release. Want to be first in line? Sign up to receive inspiring film updates from us by email.
We’re committed to giving you all the information you need to see a film you’ll love, including which ages it’s suitable for.
We also always follow national rules about film ratings, and if you’re lucky enough to be looking younger than the film’s rating, we’ll have to ask to see some ID.
Another reason you could be asked for ID is to make sure you’re getting the right ticket for your film. Our tickets are for the following ages.
We share your passion for cinema and we’ll do everything we can to help you see your first-choice film. We accept all the following forms of ID:
We also have a Student ticket for guests who are over 18 and in full-time education. To scoop a saving with this student-loan-friendly discount, just show us valid student ID, such as a National Union of Students (NUS), NUS Associate or ISIC card.
The Gallery is our VIP cinema experience. From the moment you step through our star-scattered doors, you’ll know this is the spellbinding cinema experience you love – with an extra-exclusive edge.
