I watched this with 6 children ranging from aged 5 to 12 years old, we all formed the same opinion within 10 mins of the film starting. It was VERY boring. The cinema was about half full and within half an hour many of the children were restless and talking. I lost count of the people that left before the film ended. The 8 year old sitting next to me spent the last hour of the film playing on a DS console. The film means well, it is trying to show how humans harm and also protect the environment, but it has missed the needs to be light hearted and fun to convey the message it wants to be remembered. On a positive note the animation was great to say it was a 2D showing that we went to. In a nutshell, don't waste your time or money.

Terrible film for all ages

I am not a difficult or snobby film critic, I like all types, from kids' animations to easy comedy, senseless action to BAFTA winning dramas. And I will watch my 3 year old daughter's films with her over and over again (Little Mermaid, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Aladdin, all the old favourites). But I must say this is the worst kids' film I have ever seen, possibly even one of the worst films, regardless of category, I have ever seen. When I saw 'TinkerBell', not one child got up during the whole film. Funnily enough almost every kid watching 'A Turtle's Tale' got up to pee... everyone was bored stiff, parents and kids alike! It just goes on and on with no plot, and it tries to be funny but just isn't (for example, that cat is no match to Puss in Boots from Shrek). The 'adventures' are actually just very dull activities of 2 turtles, with messages about the evil boating and oil industry. Ridiculous. Would have given 0 stars if possible.
