ODEON says...
Who are the Celts? What have the Romans ever done for us? And why is Emperor Nero dousing himself in horse wee?

Friends, Romans, Celts… Lend us your ears. The all-conquering Romans rule the civilised world – and that includes “the stain” that is Britain. While the young Emperor Nero must battle his scheming mother Agrippina for ultimate power, Celt queen Boudicca gathers an army in Britain to repel the rotten Romans. Mixed up in this battle for liberation are the teenage Atti, a reluctant Roman soldier, and Orla, a young Celt with dreams of becoming a warrior like Boudicca. Will they fall on opposite sides or forge a friendship in the chaos of Celtic-inspired rebellion?

My 9yr loved it

Reviewer: me and my daughter liked itDate: 2019-08-01

Don't go expecting the fast paced delivery of the TV series instead go expecting to see a film thats a bit silly with silly songs and a story line. I giggled through most of it and my 9yr old daughter loved it. Don't be put off by the 1 star reviews.

Dull, unfunny, not overly-educational. Not a patch on the TV series. Not entirely sure what age group this particular one was intended for as it seldom made my 9-year-old laugh. The cheaper tickets meant a king's ransom wasn't lost though ........

Took my 9yr old and her dad to see this today as we love the tv show and this was nothing like it. My daughter was bored after ten mins but we sat it out. The other kids had also lost interest, was also disappointed none of the original and funniest cast members such as Matthew Baynton, Simon Farnaby or Jim Howick where in it and they where sorely missed here the whole crowd sseemed to be on phones etc this is nothing like the tv show a fart joke based on a skit from the movie "The life of brian" got a chuckle but the kids didn't get the joke obviously wait for the dvd iv just wasted a small fortune sorry guys I'm just being brutally honest it was really awful.
