ODEON says...
From acclaimed writer/director Miranda July comes a profoundly moving and wildly original comedy.

Con-artists Theresa (Debra Winger) and Robert (Richard Jenkins) have spent 26 years training their only daughter, Old Dolio (Evan Rachel Wood), to swindle, scam, and steal at every opportunity.

During a desperate, hastily conceived heist, they charm a stranger (Gina Rodriguez) into joining their next scam, only to have their entire world turned upside down.

Painfully slow

Reviewer: NeilDDate: 2020-10-16

It's very slow. We lasted an hour then gave up.

Loved It

A really great offbeat comedy, really refreshing to see something like this showing at the cinema. Film has a beautiful score too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something a little different to watch.

Boring.

Reviewer: The_Mockingjay_RisesDate: 2020-10-10

A friend of mine showed me the trailer & it was one that I KNEW I had to see. Unfortunately, I did see it & it was painfully slow & incredibly boring. A group of boys in the same screening as me were obviously as bored as I was because one by one they'd find any old excuse to walk in & out & by the sounds of it were laughing at their own jokes. For once I didn't mind teens talking durinf the movie because I was losing my mind from being bored to tears myself. Nothing funny, special, clever or unique about this film - whatever message it was trying to deliver, it failed miserably. Best part? Leaving.

At the bottom

Reviewer: charles0207Date: 2020-10-09

Dreary view of the lower depths. Harsh and depressing tale where the vulnerable are targets of fraud and deceit. A bit like Parasite, but not as interesting. Slow and rambling. A spark of life enters but even this was not enough to keep me to the end.
