In this live-action adaptation of the beloved fairytale, old woodcarver Gepetto (Roberto Benigni), fashions a wooden puppet, Pinocchio (Federico Ielapi), who magically comes to life. 

Pinocchio longs for adventure and is easily led astray, encountering magical beasts, fantastical spectacles, while making friends and foes along his journey. However his dream is to become a real boy, which can only come true if he finally changes his ways.

Please check the details as this is not a Disney live adaptation it is a poor Italian dubbed film. we left half way through due to the terrible dubbing almost unwatchable at times.

This is a faithful adaptation of the original ITALIAN fairy story 'The Adventures of Pinocchio'. It is not a live Disney version and parts are certainly not for very young children. I loved it. I suggest seeing the trailer to be prepared for this one.

Strange!

Took the kids thinking it might be magical... it is far from magical! It’s a bit like a budget channel 5 film. My 7 year old needed to talk all the way through and lay on my lap as she found it odd and scary, my ten year old son was the same.
