Robin Bore

BORING...My expectations were clearly too high for Robin Hood. It started out brilliant but after a dull middle I lost interest. And what is up with Russell Crowe's accent - ENGLISH??! MORE LIKE CONFUSED AND DRUNK SCOTT. Cate Blanchett is good however as an older maid marion. Overall Brilliant and exciting beginning, unfortunately dull after the first 45 minutes. Should have waited for the dvd. I'll know better from know on.

Very Enjoyable

In order to fully appreciate the film you must already have some Robin Hood knowledge and be interested in him. Im not too sure about the historical accuracy in parts but when is a Crowe film ever accurate? However, the film carries you along pleasantly and feels well made. Some great acting and fantastic scenes really make it stand out and you leave the cinema feeling rather happy that you watched it. For Hood fans like myself, it cleared up a few things from previous films and felt genuine but there was a distinct lack of archery (with one exception) however, as I mentioned before, one can't be too sure of the 'facts'.

This is quite possibly the worst film I have seen for quite sometime. It would have been more accurately called a history of "King John". The acting was reasonable, but the "history" used was shaky at best. A real shame that such a good actors took parts in a shaky script!
