The Call Of The Wild: Behind The Scenes On This Adventure Of A Lifetime!

Adapted from the beloved literary classic, 20th Century Fox's 'The Call Of The Wild' vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s.

As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team--and later its leader--Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master.

Charming tale of a dog's progression through several owners, his love, loyalty and selflessness Dramatically set against the background of the Yukon. Will appeal to dog lovers and those who enjoy an adventure film.

The CGI is a bit of a distraction. But a good story - of both man and dog looking for home. Beautiful environment of mountains, rivers, snow, moose, grizzly bears, wolves etc. Cara Gee brings sunshine until Harrison Ford arrives to work his old magic

I've read the book at least half a dozen times over the past 50 years so was really nervous about seeing it, but it's fairly faithful to the main theme of the book. Not as good as the Hauer/Dreyfuss version but I recommend. Read the book after.
